On the third and final day of their visit to Greece, Prince Charles of Wales and Duchess Camilla of Cornwall visited the Knossos Archaeological Site and Knossos Research Centre on the island of Crete. Knossos was the centre of the Minoan culture of Bronze Age Crete, established around 7,000 BC. Then, the Prince and the Duchess took part in dancing during a traditional festival in the village of Acharnes. |
