| This year, DanChurchAid focuses on important works relating to mine clearance. Princess Marie of Denmark released a video message to support new campaign of DanChurchAid, which is against mines. In the video message, the Princess said "Every year, more than 2,000 people die because of mines and unexploded ordnance. Mines not only kill people but also prevent reorganization and development of millions of people. Mines prevent children from going to school safely and from playing around freely. Therefore, I support efforts of DanChurchAid for mine clearance.". |
