Boracay has grown so rapidly over a short period of time, leaving travellers and vacationers vast choices of accommodation. While the world's best island is an activity-centered destination, being in the middle of the action is as important as getting a good discount. So, where to stay without missing any portion of the fun and without digging a hole in your pocket?
I visited the island 6 times in the past 6 months. Most of those travels are for work. I never really had the chance to enjoy the sea, so to speak. I promised myself to find an opportunity to just really indulge in all the water activities. So, I looked for a very accessible place to stay with trusted partner agencies whom I can get great deals to do all the fun.
Me and my friends found Le Soleil de Boracay. Strategically located in the middle of stations 2 and 3, it's 5 minutes away from the all-important D'Mall and few steps from popular party spots like Epic, Om and Exit. Dining outlets are also nearby. Not that you need to go out since Le Soleil house its own restaurant that offers a rich lineup of seafood delights. The dinner buffet, which is priced so reasonably at PhP500, is a must-try!
There are more luxurious accommodation in the island, but the charm of Le Soleil's rooms is its homey vibe. Most first-class Boracay hotels leave you intimidated. Either that or they let you forget that you're there to enjoy the sand and not stare at your ceiling to floor glass window all day. Even if Le Soleil is in the middle of the party areas, a short walk from the shore to inside your rooms is a drastic change of atmosphere from crowded to secluded. It is as relaxing and as peaceful as those hotels located far off the beachfront in station 1.
You can check out the list of accommodation and their corresponding price tags here.
As mentioned, my favorite part in staying at Le Soleil is its accessability. We were booked for island-hopping, parasailing and paraw sailing with zero hassle. Walking to jump off points is no problem. Since it's a fairly popular (and trusted) resort, negotiations with activity vendors also went on smoothy.
Judging from the pictures, you bet we had fun. But to set you in the mood for your next Boracay trip, I have to share this VLOG.
