(Toggle) After a brief family reunion in Hong Kong last week for the Chinese New Year weekend, Yang Mi promptly returned to work in Shanghai, China to continue filming for upcoming Chinese television series, Tan Pan Guan (loosely translated as The Negotiator).
The 30 year-old actress’ three-day break was short but sweet, because she finally managed to spend time with her husband, fellow actor Hawick Lau, after spending their anniversary apart. The pair was even spotted taking their daughter, nicknamed Xiao Nuo Mi, shopping at a supermarket.
After Yang Mi left for Shanghai, her husband was seen going about his daddy duties and sending their daughter to school. Hawick also made sure to keep a low profile by wearing casual attire and a cap.
Despite the couple refuting divorce rumours with their reunion, some netizens have condemned their marriage by calling the actress a “workaholic” for spending too little time with her family.
