(Toggle) Angelababy delivered her first child, a boy, on January 17. As the 27-year-old is a first-time mother, netizens expressed their concern that her inexperience would lead to her having trouble adapting to having a baby in the house.
Thankfully, their worries seemed to be unfounded as she was discharged from hospital three days after she gave birth, and she was spotted out and about with her mother buying goods in preparation for the Chinese New Year festivities a mere eight days after she popped.
She posted her first update on her Weibo account as her son, nicknamed Little Sponge, nears the one-month milestone after his birth. The fresh-faced actress wished her fans well during the Lantern Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the Chinese New Year.
She wrote in her post, “I know about how much you’ve missed me,” which led many of her fans to praise her for her unchanging beauty, with others quipping that it was a relief that she was finally able to remember her credentials to log in to her account.
Angelababy tied the knot with Huang Xiaoming in 2015 in a fairytale wedding and the couple dismissed baby rumours on more than one occasion before finally confirming that they were expecting their first child in October 2016.
