(Toggle) Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi and husband, Chinese rocker Wang Feng celebrated the first birthday of their daughter, Xing Xing, yesterday (Dec 28) with an elaborate party.
The actress went all out for the birthday party, just like she did for Xing Xing’s 100th day celebration where she spent a total of RMB 4000,000 (approximately S$83,000) for the 30-table celebratory dinner that was held in a five-star hotel in Beijing, China this April.
Ziyi uploaded a series of photos on her Weibo from the party last night, along with a sweet family portrait of their family, along with Apple, Wang Feng’s daughter from his previous marriage. She wrote, “Baby Xing just turned one! Thank you for allowing me to experience the happiness of becoming a mother, everything is so beautiful!”
The 37 year-old also shared that during the Zhua Zhou (a Chinese tradition that requires the child to pick a few items that will symbolise their future occupation) ceremony, Xing Xing picked out a graduation hat, first-aid kid and a magnifying glass.
As shown in the actress’ photos, the birthday party featured a four-tiered cake that was decorated with numerous plush toys and the words, “Happy birthday Baby Xing”. Guests also have the choice of eating a cupcake which had Xing Xing’s face printed on them.
Ziyi and Wang Feng tied the knot last year after the singer proposed to her on her birthday and they welcomed the arrival of Xing Xing last December.
