Amitabh's latest ‘Thakur Clan’ rap and his ingenious new avatar has been doing the rounds of the internet for a while now. Tata Sky chose to leverage this in their own unique version for the legendary actor’s birthday.
To commemorate this celebration, Tata Sky created a campaign called #RapForAB and urged Big B fans across the country to wish him a very happy birthday by rapping ‘Yo Se’.
The surprise element was the kind of enthusiasm that the brand received from some of the biggest names from the film industry. Popular celebrities like Sunny Leone, Baba Sehgal, Siddharth Kannan, Govinda joined in to wish Amitabh Bachchan a Jingalala birthday by adding their own little twist to the rap.
The brand also received tremendous support from several social media influencers who helped spread the word and made the ‘Jingalala wishes’ activity a lot bigger.
#RapForAB managed to successfully involve Big B fans in wishing him a wonderful birthday.
