Mumbai, 19th October 2016: The EEMAX Global conclave and awards organized by the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), was held on 17th and 18th October 2016in the city. The annual event, targeted at the events and experiential industry within India, had experts from various parts of the world share experiences from their respective areas of focus.
From insightful panel discussions to engaging performances by notable artists and from experiential elements to high profile celebrities, all were part of EEMAX Global Conclave 2016. The best ofAIB and EIC hosted the show with dazzling performance by Monali Thakur, Kailash Kher, Neeti Mohan, Benny Dayal, Shankar-Ehsaan and Loy. The rocking post awards party was attended by Md. Irrfan, Divya Kumar, Akriti Kakkar, Jonita Gandhi, Amit Mishra, Jubilee Baruah, Arjun Kanungo, Asees Kaur, Shivangi Bhayana, Shashwat Singh and Yashita Sharma among others.
Mr. Sabbas Joseph, President- EEMA was elated at the success of the event. The Panel Discussion highlighted The Experience Industry: Learnings for the Future, which brought forth great thoughts and working expertise of the world of events. The larger-than-life awards night saw the awarding of GOLD and SILVER awardees on stage. Visionary serial entrepreneurSandeep Aggarwal shared his story too at the conclave. He has built marketplaces Shopclues.com and droom.in and the billion dollar valuations of his business ventures are a clear indicator of Sandeep’s genius. Also, marking his presence at the event was Cannes Gold winner, jury member and Chairman of BBDO, Creative genius Josy Paul, who believes that India needs more ‘acts’ not ‘ads.’
Educating the forum with his vast & rich experience, Chris Weil, Chairman, Momentum worldwide, spoke on ‘It's not what Brands Say that Matters; It's what Brands Do that Matters.’ He has been constantly defining and influencing the experiential marketing space globally. Other prominent names who graced the event and shared their perspectives with facts & knowledge of the industry at large were Prasoon Joshi, Arnab Goswami, Karthikeya Sharma and Sudhanshu Vats.
