On January 18, Queen Silvia attended the symposium "Challenges in the implementation of new Alzheimer Disease treatments" at the Karolinska Institute. During the symposium, challenges that arise when new treatments for Alzheimer disease are implemented were discussed. The symposium is supported by The Foundation for Gamla Tjänarinnor (Old Servants), which provides grants to promote research in the geriatric field.
