Countess Athena of Denmark celebrates her 12th birthday today, on January 24. Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie was born on January 24, 2012. Athena is the youngest child and one and only daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. The Royal Court released new photos of Countess Athena on the occasion of the birthday. The birthday photos were taken by Princess Marie at the family's home in Washington D.C.
