On September 26, Swedish Crown Princess Victoria attended the award ceremony of the 2023 Björn Carlson's Baltic Sea Prize (BalticSea2020) at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. The prize was awarded by the Crown Princess to Professor Jacob Carstensen of Aarhus University and Professor Daniel Conley of Lund University. The awardees received a diploma and also a sum of SEK three million.
