On June 12, 42 athletes and 22 leaders from The Swedish Parasports Association departed for the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023 in Berlin, the world's largest sports competition for people with intellectual disabilities. Before the departure, Crown Princess Victoria sent a video greeting to the Swedish para-athletes. The Crown Princess is an honorary member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
