This year marks King Carl XVI Gustaf's 50 years as Sweden's head of state. As a celebration of the King's 50th anniversary on the throne, the King and Queen are paying visits to Sweden's 21 counties in 2023 according to their program of engagements. On May 31, the King and Queen visited Kronoberg County. King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Linneparken and the House of Emigrants in Vaxjo.
