Belgium's King and Queen attended the 150th anniversary of Maredsous Abbey

On October 16, 2022, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the pontifical mass at Maredsous Abbey in Denee, Anhee municipality in Wallonia region, which was held to mark the Maredsous Abbey's 150th anniversary. Pontifical Mass was presided over by Cardinal Jozef De Kesel. The Maredsous Abbey was founded in 1872 in the Molignée valley by Benedictine monks.
