On May 14, 2022, Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands attended the 111th anniversary meeting of the Heemschut Heritage Association at the Sint-Martinuskerk in Woudrichem. The association works for the preservation of cultural heritage and monuments. The association does this through its provincial committees and thematic working groups and through the efforts of volunteers and its more than 5000 members. Princess Beatrix is patron of the Heemschut Heritage Association.
