On September 23, 2021, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden visited Uppsala County to speak with various public bodies, companies, organizations and individuals who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In the morning, The King and Queen visited Hubben Science Park in Uppsala. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, members of the Royal Family, on the initiative of the King, visit Sweden's 21 counties.
