On Tuesday 1 June, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the opening concert of the 20th Stockholm Early Music Festival at the German Church in Gamla Stan. The 20th anniversary celebrating Stockholm Early Music Festival opened in presence of the King and Queen with a performance of Dmitry Sinkovsky and his orchestra La Voce Strumentale. Stockholm Early Music Festival (SEMF) is the largest international event in the Nordic countries for baroque, renaissance and medieval music.
