On September 07, 2020, The Duchess of Cornwall has visited the 1st Battalion, The Rifles (1 Rifles) headquarters for the first time following her appointment as Colonel-in-Chief of the British Army regiment. The Duchess met with personnel and their families at 1 Rifles' Beachley Barracks. 1 Rifles are based in Chepstow, nestled in the Gloucestershire countryside between Cardiff and Bristol.
