On September 5, 2020, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary participated in events held on the occasion of Denmark's Flag Day 2020. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess first attended a respect ceremony at 'The Citadel' (Kastellet) in Copenhagen held in order to honor soldiers and officials who are or have been deployed abroad by Denmark.
