Queen Margrethe attended the anniversary of the Anglo-Danish Society's Scholarship Programme

On December 4, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Anglo-Danish Society's Scholarship Programme, Queen Margrethe ll of Denmark attended the Gala Banquet at Drapers’ Hall in London. The anniversary event was also attended by The Duchess of Gloucester. The Society enjoys the patronage of Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Margrethe. The Duchess of Gloucester is the Protector of the Scholarship Programme. The Society awarded its first scholarship in 1959 and continues to grant scholarships to British and Danish students for the purpose of post-graduate study or research.
