Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida visited Yaowaraj area in Bangkok, which is home to the kingdom's biggest Chinese community and is commonly known as Chinatown. In the Chinatown, the King and Queen presided over the opening of an exhibition commemorating the Chakri Dynasty. The King and Queen also visited the Thienfah Foundation Hospital to pay respects to the statue of the Chinese goddess Guan Yin. Afterwards, the King and Queen met with well-wishers who lined Suapa and Charoen Krung roads and at Mangkorn Kamalawas Temple. It was the Royal couple’s first visit to the Chinese community in Bangkok. |
