| On December 4, 2019, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, Princess Beatrix, Prince Constantijn, Princess Laurentien and Princess Mabel attended the award ceremony of 2019 Prince Claus Award, held at Amsterdam Royal Palace. Sudanese visual artist Kamala Ibrahim Ishaq received the 2019 Prince Claus Award from Prince Constantijn, the honorary chairman of the Prince Claus Fund. The award is awarded annually to individuals and organizations who contribute to progressive and contemporary culture and community development. |
