| On November 29, 2019, Princess Sofia attended the opening of Alvdalen Municipality's new school. The construction of the school has been going on since 2016. Alvdalen is a municipality in Dalarna County in central Sweden. (Sofia lived in Täby, until she was six. Her family then moved to the tiny town of Älvdalen. She attended Älvdalen Montessori School and Älvdal School.) Älvdalen literally means River Valley. |
