| King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the 36th "Francisco Cerecedo" award ceremony at Madrid Hotel Palace. The award is given by the Association of European Journalists. This year, writer and columnist Javier Cercas became the awardee of "Francisco Cerecedo" Journalism Award. "Francisco Cerecedo" Journalism Award is awarded each year with the sponsorship of BBVA by a jury created by the Association of European Journalists.
