Japan's Emperor and Empress visited Ise Jingu Shrine in Mie

On November 22, 2019, Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako visited the Geku outer shrine of Ise Jingu shrine, a Shinto shrine complex in Mie Prefecture, central Japan, to mark the completion of two major rites signifying the emperor's enthronement. There, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako reported that a series of ceremonies for the Emperor's enthronement has been completed.
