Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako attended the 60th Convention of Nikkei & Japanese Abroad

On October 1, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako attended the 60th Convention of Nikkei and Japanese Abroad at Constitution Memorial Hall in Tokyo. This year, about 200 people of Japanese descent from 19 countries attended the annual convention of Japanese immigrants and their descendants abroad. The convention provides an opportunity for Japanese people living abroad to get together in the mother country and discuss life outside Japan. The convention takes place from Tuesday to Thursday.
