| On September 18, 2019, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited Southwest Drenthe. The King and The Queen visited Hoogeveen, Westerveld, De Wolden and Meppel municipalities. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were welcomed on arrival in Hoogeveen by the King's Commissioner, Mrs. Jetta Klijnsma. The King and The Queen then spoke with founders and participants of the "De Smederijen" and "Jong Hoogeveen" initiatives. Queen Maxima's outfit is by Belgian fashion house Natan. |
