| On September 5, 2019, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the funeral of Norwegian musician Anne Grete Preus, held at Uranienborg Church in Oslo. Anne Grete Preus contracted liver cancer in 2007. Singer Preus fought against cancer for 12 years and on the night of August 24, 2019, Sunday, she died at the age of 62 after a long fight against cancer. Anne Grete Preus was a popular rock artist in Norway in the 1980s and 1990s. She was first a member of the bands Veslefrikk and Can Can, and later, she continued her career as a solo artist. |
