| Former King Juan Carlos of Spain had a successful triple bypass surgery this Saturday that was completed without incident. King Felipe VI went to Quiron University Hospital in Madrid with his mother, Queen Sofia, when the operation was completed. As he left the hospital afterwards, King Felipe VI of Spain said he was "very happy" about how the surgery was performed, adding that "everything went perfectly" in a statement to reporters waiting at the hospital entrance. |
