| On August 28, 2019, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended Stockholm Water Prize 2019 Award Ceremony and Royal Banquet, held at Stockholm City Hall as part of the World Water Week 2019. King Carl XVI Gustaf presented the Stockholm Water Prize to South African aquatic ecologist Dr Jackie King. Dr Jackie King is named the 2019 Stockholm Water Prize Laureate for her game-changing contributions to global river management. |
