The Duchess of Cornwall named a new cruise ship in Dover

On July 5, 2019, The Duchess of Cornwall as Patron of The Silver Line, attended the naming and baptism ceremony of the Saga Group's new cruise ship in Dover. The Duchess of Cornwall named Saga's new cruise ship the 'Spirit Of Discovery'. The Duchess met with the crew of the newly named Spirit of Discovery. The Silver Line, a charitable association which works a helpline for older people. Camilla is also the honorary Comodore-in-chief of the Royal Navy Medical Service. The 236 metre ship holds 999 people and is the first ship to be named in Dover in more than a decade.
