| On July 12, 2019, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Felix of Luxembourg attended the opening of the new water treatment system built by Mörbylånga municipality for the purpose of providing drinking water to the inhabitants of Mörbylånga municipality and meeting increasing water need. The water treatment system was build by APATEQ that is a Luxembourg based company. The new waterworks has a daily production capacity of 4,000 cubic meters of drinking water.
