On June 6, 2019, The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended the Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance at Bayeux Cathedral, as part of commemorations for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Bayeux. Then, The Duke and Duchess attended a memorial service at Bayeux War Cemetery. The Duchess met with veterans after the Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance at Bayeux War Cemetery.
