| The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived into Cumbria on June 11, 2019 to undertake a joint engagement. Cumbria is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in North West England. The Duke and Duchess were guests of honour at a celebration to recognise the contribution of individuals and local organisations in supporting communities and families across Cumbria. The Duke and Duchess took part in a walkabout where they met members of the public gathered in the Market Square. During today's visit, The Duke and Duchess will meet with local organisations who support farms in the region, as well as volunteers who work with the local mountain rescue. The Duchess is wearing chunky boots by Chloé, and a jacket by Troy of London. |
