| Princess Anne opened the Commonwealth War Graves Commission’s (CWGC) new visitor centre called the CWGC Experience in Beaurains. Princess Anne also met staff responsible for the maintenance and care of the immaculate cemeteries which commemorate the war dead around the world. The centre aims to provide a greater understanding of the organisation’s work commemorating the 1.7 million men and women who died in the service of King and Country during the two world wars. |
