Danish Queen Margrethe II visits Tallinn, Estonia, 2nd day

On the second day of her visit to Tallinn, Queen Margrethe II attended celebration of the 800th anniversary of the establishment of the St. Mary’s Cathedral in Tallinn. The Cathedral was founded by Danes in the 13th century and is regarded as the oldest church in Tallinn. On the evening of June16, Queen hosted a reception on the Royal Yacht Dannebrog. The Queen visited Estonia’s capital Tallinn in connection with the 800th anniversary of the Danish national flag Dannebrog’s descent from the sky.
