| On May 23, 2019, Queen Maxima handed out this year's 'Appeltjes van Oranje 2019' (Apples of Orange) Awards, at Noordeinde Palace in Hague. King Willem-Alexander and Princess Beatrix also attended this ceremony. The annual award of the Oranje Fonds has this year been awarded to Met je hart. The prize is a bronze statue and 15,000 euros. The Oranje Fonds supports social cohesion and social integration projects such as small-scale community initiatives, mentoring projects for young people, and language programmes.
