Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Ghent University

On May 11, 2019, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Ghent University in connection with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During her visit, The Queen gave a speech about the role and commitment of young people and academicians in the fulfillment of United Nations 2030 Agenda. Students and researchers at the university gave information to The Queen about the projects they have developed and carried out in the field of sustainable development. The Queen is an advocate of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
