| Queen Margrethe of Denmark visited Nyborg Municipality in connection with the her traditional 2019 summer tour. The Queen arrived at Nyborg Harbour on May 31 and was welcomed by Mayor Kenneth Muhs of Nyborg. The annual royal summer tour on the Dannebrog is a tradition that dates back to the reign of King Christian X of Denmark who made yearly trips across Danish waters. The Dannebrog is often used by the Danish Royal Family on their official travels in Denmark during the summer. |
