| On February 20, Wednesday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden held a diplomatic reception for newly appointed ambassadors from Qatar, Albania, Japan, New Zealand, North Korea, Sri Lanka and Brazil. A few times in a year, a reception is held for newly appointed ambassadors and their spouses at the Royal Palace. Crown Princess Victoria also attended the diplomatic reception held on Wednesday.
