The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Royal Opera House

On January 16, 2019, The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Royal Opera House’s Costume Department to learn more information about the textiles they use to create costumes. The Royal Opera House creates and conserves thousands of opera and ballet costumes per season – with up to 600 costumes used in each production on stage. (The Duchess wore a burgundy skirt suit by Oscar de la Renta)
