| On January 05, 2019, Princess Martha Louise of Norway attended the Sports Gala 2019 held at DnB Arena in Stavanger and presented an award to Norwegian competitive rower and cross country skier Birgit Røkkum Skarstein. The Sports Gala (Idrettsgallaen) is a show which honors Norwegian athletes' achievements in the past year. The event has been held since 2001. The event is held for the 17th time this year and the event is held with the cooperation of NRK, Norsk Tipping, and Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports. |
