King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attended a seminar in the Riksdag

On December 17, 1918, Riksdag (The Swedish Parliament) took a resolution which adopted universal and equal suffrage in local elections, and Swedish women gained the right to vote and be elected in local elections. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of gaining that right, a seminar was held in the Riksdag, and King Carl XVI Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attended the seminar at Riksdag on December 17, 2018.
