| King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia attended the commemorative ceremonies of the 13th centenary of the creation of Asturias and the centenary of the Coronation of Lady of Covadonga and the Picos de Europa National Park in Covadonga. In 2018, Asturias celebrates three anniversaries centred around Covadonga and its vicinity. Three centenaries take place at once: that of the Coronation of the Virgen de Covadonga, the creation of the Montaña de Covadonga National Park and the 13th centenary of the origins of the Kingdom of Asturias. |
