Happy Saturday ladies. Today's look is all about the last of my recent J Crew sales buys - I'd spotted this jacket in store during a recent London visit but couldn't justify the cost. Then when it popped up in the sale with an additional discount I thought it would be rude not.
I just love the tie waist, which isn't something I'd normally go for but due to the peplum hem this is more flattering than a jacket then goes straight up or down & gives the shacket a much more smarter feel.

Simple style for its first outing - a statement pleated white shirt paired with cropped kick flare trousers & a splash of metallic to lift the look with a statement cuff & my ballet flats.
I'm off out into Birmingham with a friend today for a catch up with a bit of pampering, shopping & lunch thrown in for good measure & I can't wait :-)
