(Toggle) Jay Chou welcomed his second child in June and took paternity leave for a month to be with his wife Hannah Quinlivan. Today, he attended the press conference for his new film Ping-pong Brothers in Shanghai.
Although his eyes were injured, Jay still happily talked about his lovey-dovey life at the press conference. "I ate the same food as Hannah during her confinement; it's like I was the one who gave birth!" Jay joked. He then said to Jam Hsiao, "You are too thin. You should go on a confinement diet too and I believe you will gain weight soon."
The organisers played Jay’s song "The Class" at the press conference, which suited the film a lot. Jay re-wrote the script for the film five times and had countless meetings with the cast. "It's my first time supervising a film. I will try my best to get good results," he said.
In addition, Jay also plays a role in this film, but he refused to reveal too much for now. "I have played ping-pong since I was a child, so I have a role in this film too," he said. Filming will start at the end of July in Fujian.
