| On July 1, 2017, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Crown Princess Elisabeth, Princess Eleonore, Prince Emmanuel and Prince Gabriel visited the Mercator sailing ship, in Oostende. The Mercator was the last in a series of five Belgian training ships. It’s been a museum since 1961. In 1966 it was declared a protected monument. |
