(Toggle) Hong Kong Heavenly King Andy Lau has been recuperating at home since he was officially discharged from the hospital in March. But he finally returned to work recently and the actor-singer updated his official website with a photo of himself working in a recording studio in an attempt to ease the worries of his fans.
He wrote, “I feel better now that you can all stop worrying [about me]. See you in my dreams!” The 55-year-old also shared that he was in the studio doing voiceovers for his character in Hong Kong movie The Adventurers ll.
Fans heaved a sigh of relief when they caught wind that Andy was able to resume work and they all wished him well and advised him to take good care of himself in the meantime. The director of The Adventurers ll also commented on the post, “It’s been hard on you.”
Andy sustained serious injuries on his back and fractured his pelvic bone back in January after falling off a horse on the set of a commercial in Thailand. It was said that the horse trampled on the actor’s lumbar. He was then not allowed to leave his bed due to his injuries and was also forced to postpone his year-end concert to next year because “this year is a vital period [for his recovery]”.
