(China Plus) Famed Taiwan director Wei Te-Sheng's newest film "52Hz, I Love You" is set to be released at theatres in Chinese mainland this coming Friday.
The film, which starts out on Valentine's Day, follows the struggles of a 33-year-old florist who struggles with her own insecurities for being unable to find "Mr. Right" at her age.
A series of romantic and comedic stories are interwoven into the film.
"52Hz, I Love You" is cast with a number of local singers into the lead roles.
As such, the film also includes a stellar soundtrack, which provides a score for the on-screen action taking place throughout Taipei on Valentine's Day.
Director Wei Te-Sheng is best-known for his musically-inclined romance "Cape No. 7," which remains the highest-grossing film of all time on Taiwan.
Beyond the island, "Cape No. 7" has also been screened in a number of North American theatres following its premiere late last year.
