(Toggle) Power couple Fan Bingbing and Li Chen will finally be teaming up for a performance on China Central Television’s (CCTV) New Year’s Gala, an annual show to mark the start of the Lunar New Year, which will be held in Beijing, China this year.
Other than announcing that they will be performing together, the 38 year-old has confirmed that he will be spending the Lunar New Year with Bingbing, as his work schedule does not allow him to make a trip back to his hometown in Qingdao.
Many fans are also speculating that that the couple might just announce their wedding dates during the the show, in light of the festive occasion, but when probed about the possibility of that happening, he answered, “We’ll definitely share if we have good news!”
He also refused to let slip any details regarding the genre of their performance and said teasingly, “It might be something short and sweet, maybe a song or something else”.
Li Chen is also looking forward to the Chinese New Year festivities as he loves red packets. “I believe everybody worked hard during the past year, and we’ll definitely feel happy during the Lunar New Year when we give out or receive red packets”, he said.
